What To Expect On Your First Melton Chiropractic Centre Visit

When you arrive at your first Melton Chiropractic Centre appointment, you will be introduced to your chiropractor and go through your previous medical history. You chiropractor will then assess the presenting problem via a thorough physical examination.

Your chiropractic examination may also involve digital postural analysis, palpatory assessment, muscle testing and x-rays if clinically indicated. Following this, your chiropractor will be able to offer you guidance and treatments designed to help you relieve your discomfort.

Chiropractor Education

To become a chiropractor in Australia, you must undertake 5 years of intensive study of the human body. During their clinical science studies, the main subjects a chiropractor will complete are clinical anatomy, micro-biology, pathology, physiology, bio-chemistry, radiology, pathology, differential diagnosis, neurology, neuro-anatomy, practical examinations, and clinical examinations.

Our chiropractors are graduates from universities around the world and most have completed their studies at the esteemed RMIT University. In addition to their degree, Melton Chiropractic Centre supports its chiropractors in their ongoing professional development and the latest research-based chiropractic treatments.

In addition to this, several of Melton Chiropractic Centre practitioners have completed additional university courses. All of our chiropractors hold a Level 2 First Aid Certificate and are insured to practice chiropractic modalities in Australia.
